HCG Diet Protocol

Set yourself up for success!! Read all instructions before starting and follow the directions!

Each phase is important for your success. Deviating from this protocol will result in more hunger, greater headaches, and weight gain.  The closer you stick to the protocol, the better the results will be.

Pre Diet- Completing a two week cleanse before starting your drops or supplements. This will help remove toxins that prevent HCG effectiveness and helps kill Candida which causes weight gain and hunger. Do not take any supplements during the cleansing phase. If you are not going to the bathroom, a colon cleanse is right for you. If you are going to the bathroom everyday, we recommend a body cleanse or Candida cleanse.

Phase 1 -Day 1 and 2: Take HCG and gorge on healthy, high fat foods. Cheese, whole milk, ice cream, nuts, avocados, peanut butter etc.  Eat  healthy high fat foods at each meal.  This will open your fat reserves to help flush out fat and also release nutrients for less hunger when you start your low calorie diet. Treat yourself to a few tasty foods you will not be eating in the next few weeks.  Yes - start your HCG drops during this time and your HCG recommended supplements.  This does not include foods high in sugar such as deserts or soft drinks, and remember to stay away from fast food!  The purpose of the gorging days is to eat healthy foods that are high in fat, not to eat unhealthy foods or foods high in carbohydrates and sugar.  Eating unhealthy foods during the gorging days will actually make you hungrier during the low calorie phase!  Start taking your supplements now. Do not eat or dring anything for 15 before or after you take your HCG drops
 

Phase 2- Starting with Day 3: Take HCG and follow a 800 calorie diet plan for up to 40 days. Eliminate all fat from your diet.  This includes any skin or hair care products with oil. Continue taking all your supplements because they are important for keeping your strength up and helping you burn more fat! Don't forget, the more clean (non-tap) water you drink, the more weight you will lose! (2 to 3 liters a day). Eliminate all sugar, artificial sweeteners, and MSG.  Common artificial sweeteners include aspartame, saccharin, and surcralose.

Phase 3 - Maintenance: Most important phase of this diet.

Follow 800 calories first two days after stopping HCG
1st 3 weeks after stopping HCG: All foods are allowed except starches and sugars.
2nd 3 weeks after stopping HCG: Very gradually add starches and sugars in small quantities.

 

Breakfast

Small breakfast is allowed. One fruit and up to 3 eggs whites, 4oz organic fat free yogurt, 4ozs of low sodium cottage cheese, or a low fat protein shake. Protein shake guidelines :They must contain no sugar, low carbs -3,-2 grams of fat and no artificial ingredients. Drink organic Yerba Mate or Oolong Tea with organic Stevia in any quantity throughout the day.  These teas will help boost metabolism and help burn more fat. Only 1 Tbsp. milk in 24 hours. 


Lunch

1. 6 oz’s of veal, beef, chicken breast, turkey, lobster, crab, canned tuna (in water, oil is not acceptable) or shrimp. Any White fish: Flounder, Wild Chilean Sea Bass, Sole, Grouper and Halibut. Perch, cod, haddock, and trout. Trim off all fat and weigh raw. Meat must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed.  Whey or Rice Protein shakes are allowed.(They must contain no sugar, low carbs -3,-2 grams of fat and no artificial ingredients.

2.  One type of fiber vegetable only. Chosen from the following (Up to 1 1/2 cups per meal):  Asparagus,  Spinach,  Beet Greens, Turnips, Turnip greens. Bamboo shoots,  Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Eggplant, Okra, Kale, Squash (Yellow & Summer), Watercress and Zucchini.

Water veggies can be mixed for salsa, salads or marinade. Celery, Tomatoes, cabbages, lettuce, cucumbers, onions, chard, peppers,radishes

You may snack on extra celery and cucumbers throughout the day if needed.


3. An apple, orange, med grapefruit or a handful of strawberries, Cantaloupe, Blackberries, Blueberries, Apricot and Boysenberries. 

Yes you may save your fruit for a snack or save the cantaloupe for a  stall breaker before you go to bed.

4. 2 organic rice crackers or 1/4 cup cooked brown rice.  If you are not losing as much weight as you would like, please omit this startch of the protocol.

 

Dinner
   
The same choices as above but chose different foods for dinner then you had at lunch
The juice of one lemon is allowed daily. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, HCG approved seasoning and dressing are allowed.

Tea, coffee, plain water or mineral water are the only drinks allowed. You should drink at least 2 liters of these fluids per day NO Crystal Lite or anything with artificial sweetener! Artificial sweeteners make us fat and hungry? Stevia, chicory root and xylitol are healthy options.

  • Foods Allowed –There are several recipe books available today that make the diet much easier to tolerate. Before many people would cheat on the diet just because of the limited variety in their diet and they just felt they had to sneak something not on the diet for variety.
