You’ve heard about kombucha & you’re wondering what is all the buzz about!? Join us Thursday, June 6 to not only learn the health benefits but also take home a “starter” scoby to harvest your own kombucha! Usually, scoby takes at least 2-4 weeks to develop, so this class & take home scoby sure is a time saver!
In order to make kombucha, you need a scoby, which stands for the Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast. It is essential for kombucha making! Sometimes you will hear people use funny names for it like “the mother” because it is the source of life for kombucha, or a “mushroom” because it turns into a big, gelatinous, and bacterial component that can resemble a fungus.
This class is $5 per person, required to take home starter scoby. You may pay the $5 the day of the class in cash.
